well i was gonna write about how i stood some kids up at school friday who were beating up on this girl, but chantal already wrote a whole account of it on her site, better than i could lol. just read it there, that's pretty much how it happened.

it was the 1st time i ever did something like that and to be honest, i was doubting the whole thing when i first shouted at them to leave her alone. i was thinking maybe chantal was right about going to find a teacher to deal with it instead of me dealing with it on a sudden adrenaline rush. at the time it just seemed like that's what i had to do and i didn't think much about all the ways it could've gone wrong. it worked out ok though and aj + the other assholes are gonna get busted cuz we turned their asses over to the principal.

andrenaline's the only thing i can think of that allowed me to face off to those guys without giving it much thought at the begining cuz believe me it could've been a helluva lot worse. there could've been a fight; i could've got beaten up; i could've beaten somebody up, etc. guess i got lucky huh? i don't regret what i did at all though, even if it had ended in a much worse way. they had no right to beat her up, cuz she did nothing to deserve it.

quick entry before dinner. lol. didn't have time to update all week cuz of a sudden increase in projects, reading assignments, etc. then on top of that there's all the non-school stuff, such as spending time w/ chantal. not complaining bout the latter though.

still can't believe all that happened last friday. well, "aj" got suspended for the rest of the year cuz he's got a past record of trouble. this last incident set it over the top. ha-ha.

oh yeah. on wed. we got exam results. here's mine:

-world history: 90/100 (b+)
-physical science: 97/100 (a)

damn that french. lol.

chantal's mom is being so gay. (sorry chantal but she is.) chantal and i were on aim last night spending the early hours of today together when her mom gets on and types "you knew she had to get off at 12 yet you kept her online & away from her work. she's grounded this weekend + can't go out and can't go online and can't use aim again til she brings home an a on a test." exact words.

ok. 1st of all no one told me she had to be off at a certain time. if chantal knew, she didn't tell me so how was i s'posed to know? if i'd known then i woulda told her to get off. why would she be so gay as to give me the blame? hell i didn't do a thing.

2nd of all, it's valentine's day. we had the whole day planned and now that's screwed. i'm not even allowed to stay and watch chantal open her present. no, her mom said i can just "drop it off" at her house and then "scat." wtf? isn't kicking her off the net more than enough already?

shitty day this turned out to be. can't even spend it with the girl i love. what am i s'posed to do, fuck the world 10 times over?

yeah chantal's still grounded from the net. she's grounded until she gets an a on a test. her mom won't even let her post tabulas or do e-mail, or aim. she's also not allowed to go out after school or on weekends. it really sucks. i make the most of the time i have at school to see her. school's the best thing in my life now. never thought i'd see the day.

well jori's been talking non-stop about mel gibson's movie passion of christ. she talked us all into buying advance tickets for it for wed. night. jacob can get us in (cuz it's rated r), and the whole gang is going (except chantal that is). i didn't want to go at first cuz of the chantal thing, but changed my mind when i heard about the big controversy over the movie. if there's a controversy, i gotta see the movie or book in question for myself before jumping to conclusions.

yeah i got the date wrong. we saw passion of the christ last night; not wed. lol. well it was jacob, josh, woz, linden, wang, anna, jori, kim and myself who went. i was really peeved that chantal was stuck at home but she said it's just as well cuz violent movies aren't her thing. lol. well we got there an hour early cuz jori was freaking about not getting seats. i guess we went at a good time, cuz we got good seats before the crowds all came in. lol.

k, thoughts on the movie...because i don't read the bible, i didn't get some of the meanings and references to important stories / characters. that's ok though. lol.

it was one of the most violent movies i ever saw. violent considering the focus was on jesus getting beaten up by the roman guards -- that sequence is at least 90 minutes. i am immune to tv, movie and video game violence cuz i see it all the time, but also it wasn't the "cool" violence that's in war movies, you know where somebody's head gets blown off or in a cop movie where a building gets blasted and you go, aw man that kicked some serious ass!!!

passion was different. i'm not big on jesus, but hell, it's still kinda hard to sit there and watch one person pack that big hell of a punch. hey i forgot to finish off the popcorn. still had 1/2 a bag left after the movie. not a normal thing with me. lol. woz said he forgot to finish his as well. it's weird.

a lot of people were pretty emotional and stuff when it was over. jori - the one who talked us into going in the 1st place - was really shaken up by this movie. josh and jacob had to drag her out of the theater. also anna and wang left in the middle cuz anna got grossed out.

well as for the controversy. yeah i'd say it was anti-semitic and anti-roman. at least in the opinion of someone who doesn't know all the facts, it comes across that way. sorta felt like mel gibson hoped people would feel so sorry for jesus that they'll increase their faith in him. yeah right. all in all, good movie, though not one i would wanna watch again.
