in approximately 21 hours i'll be 16. the year i've been waiting for cuz everyone knows the extent of my eagerness to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. doesn't matter at this point what vehicle it is as long as it is a vehicle with a drivers' seat, tires, gas, and a steering wheel.

neglected to write during the short winter break. it was cool. not happy bout being back in school, but hey, a 3 day weekend isn't bad.

returned 1 game + 2 dvds (xmas presents) last week and donated the refund to the red cross. i hope the money reached the right hands by now.

i'm really excited about the ipod shuffle + the mac mini. good chance i'll get my hands on at least one of those soon.

well i turned 16 without fanfare. that was sweet, as i didn't want fanfare. last year chantal + my mom got their way w/ the dinner party thing. this year i got my way + had no party beyond the simple family celebration. otherwise it was a normal day. i got some cool stuff:

- iPod shuffle (should arrive thurs or fri)
- workout log
- digital heart rate monitor
- rotk extended dvd
- harry potter school books set (fantastic beasts + where to find them and quidditch through the ages)
- new watch + cologne (from chantal)

last -- certainly not least -- a scrapbook + blank journal from ros. in the scrapbook she put important highlights during the period i was 15: local+world news clippings, movie ticket stubs, class syllabi, current computer stats, that sorta stuff. awesome. there's even a web section, with screenshots from sites over a period of time.

i never got anything like that + it's the most thoughtful thing anyone took the time to make for me. the thing that gets me is that she worked on it for a whole year. thanks ros, i shoulda known that bookworm makes books too. lol.

as for the journal, i've no experience whatsoever with a "real" journal. therefore, no clue where to start. ros i still need to figure that one out. lol.

my ipod shuffle arrived yesterday. it was delayed for some unknown reason but it finally made its way. the shuffle is awesome. it's more practical for when i'm in class or at the gym.
